Wel-Best expanded into the house paint segment in 1992 with Welcoat Paints. Our entry into the waterproofing industry, by partnership with Henkel Germany, ensued in 1998. Rain or Shine Elastomeric paint, our flagship brand, was launched in 2004 upon the advice of a valued key account. Its growth has propelled our company, now named Asian Coatings Phils., Inc., into becoming a leading company in the colorful landscape of Philippine paints.
