Cost-Effective Primer

SURFACE PREPARATION :

New Galvanized Iron Surfaces
1) Apply ACGT-0369 Alpha Chroma Galva Treat Solution and rinse with clear water.
2) Wipe the surface with a cloth moistened with ACT-1610 Alpha Chroma Lacquer Thinner to eliminate unreacted Alpha Chroma Galva-Treat Solution. Do not use turpentine or mineral spirits since they leave an oily deposit on the surface.

Repainting - Corroded
1) Remove rust by wire brushing and sanding.
2) Treat the area with ACRC-0276 Alpha Chroma Rust Converter.
3) Wipe with a clean cloth moistened with ACT-1610 Alpha Chroma Lacquer Thinner to eliminate unreacted rust converter.

Repainting -Uncorroded
1) Remove any flaking or peeling paint.
2) Sand, clean, and dust off.

APPLICATION SYSTEM:
Brush or Roller

New or Repainting
Primer: Apply one (1) coat of Welcoat Metal Primer.
1st Topcoat: Apply one (1) coat of Welcoat Interior Semi-Gloss Enamel or Welcoat Quick Dry Enamel.
2nd Topcoat: Apply one (1) coat of Welcoat Interior Semi-Gloss Enamel or Welcoat Quick Dry Enamel.

Keep the container dry and tightly closed in a cool and well-ventilated place.

Isolate from sources of heat, sparks, and open flame. Do not use sparkling tools.

Keep away from oxidizing agents, strongly alkaline, and strongly acidic materials.

Always keep in containers with the same material as the original one.
